SAVOY ORDERS PIGOTT SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Deadline: Applications must be received by May 15, 2013.
The American Foundation of Savoy Orders is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 2013-2014 Savoy Orders Pigott Scholarships.
The Board of Directors of the American Foundation of Savoy Orders is pleased to send you the Instruction Sheet and Application Form for the Savoy Orders Pigott Scholarships in two areas of discipline: Humanities & Fine Arts and International Studies.
Three $2,500 scholarships, based on achievement and potential, will be awarded for the 2013-2014 academic year. To qualify, applicants must be full time undergraduate or graduate students at the time of application and have a major in the Humanities & Fine Arts or International Studies. The scholarships are available for a United States citizen/permanent resident.

The American Foundation of Savoy Orders, Incorporated will notify selected 2013-2014 Savoy Orders Pigott Scholarship recipients by July 30, 2013.
All of the following must be completed and received on or before May 15, 2013, in order to be considered for the Savoy Orders Pigott Scholarship. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Application Form: Please submit a completed and signed application form.
Transcript of Grades: Please provide the most recent official transcript of your grades.
Letters of Recommendation: Please submit two (2) letters of recommendation from professors who know you and are familiar with your academic performance.
Enrollment Certification: Please send us your current Enrollment Certification from your college or university. If a grant is awarded, we will need an updated Enrollment Certification that corresponds to the academic year for which funding is granted.
Essay: Please attach to the application a brief essay (between 250-500 words) on how the scholarship will help you develop your academic and career goals.
All supporting materials, including letters of recommendation must be received by May 15. Return the application and all required information prior to May 15 to:
