The American Foundation of Savoy Orders is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 2024-2025 Savoy Orders Pigott Scholarships.
The Board of Directors of the American Foundation of Savoy Orders is pleased to present the Instruction Sheet for the Savoy Orders Pigott Scholarships in two areas of discipline: Humanities & Fine Arts and International Studies
Three $2,500 scholarships, based on academic excellence and financial need, will be awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year. To qualify, prospective grantees must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students and have a major in the Humanities & Fine Arts or International Studies. The scholarships are available to citizens and permanent residents of the United States. Please see the scholarship guidelines for additional information.
All interested, qualified students are encouraged to apply for the scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements:

Notification:
The American Foundation of Savoy Orders, Incorporated will notify selected 2024-2025 Savoy Orders Pigott Scholarship recipients by July 31, 2024.
Application Materials:
All of the following must be completed and received on or before May 31, 2024, in order to be considered for the Savoy Orders Pigott Scholarship. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Application Form:
Please submit a completed and signed application form.
Transcript of Grades:
Please provide the most recent official transcript of your grades.
Letters of Recommendation:
Please submit two (2) letters of recommendation from professors who know you and are familiar with your academic performance.
Enrollment Certification:
Please send us your current Enrollment Certification from your college or university. If a grant is awarded, we will need an updated Enrollment Certification that corresponds to the academic year for which funding is granted.
Essay:
Please attach to the application a brief essay (between 250‐500 words) on how the scholarship will help you develop your academic and career goals.
All supporting materials, including letters of recommendation, must be received by May 31. Return the application and all required information prior to May 31 to:
